General Terms of Trade
Supply Agreements
When you engage in a transaction with Metal Traders, you're purchasing more than just commodities. You're entering into a Supply Agreement for our mining partners to extract or process the specific commodity you require. Following this, our team meticulously arranges all logistics and export procedures, ensuring your commodity is delivered efficiently and reliably.
Product Price
At Metal Traders, our pricing is driven by global supply and demand dynamics. For ongoing supply agreements for each commodity, we rely on established benchmarks such as PLATTS, LME, and other reputable indexes.
Payment Terms
Adhering to International Chamber of Commerce practices, Metal Traders employs secure bank-to-bank transactions via 100% Letter of Credit (LC) (MT700). Additional safeguards include a Performance Bond and an MT103 payment, both triggered upon fulfillment of LC terms.
Inspection
At Metal Traders, the final determination of quality and quantity is in accordance with the Certificate of Inspection provided by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), conducted at the Loading Port. Furthermore, a China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) Report is provided at the Discharge Port, reinforcing our commitment to transparent and assured transactions.
Shipping Options
We adapt to various shipping terms and conditions to meet your specific needs. While we utilize a range of the INCOTERMS 2020, including EXW, FCA, FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DPU, DAP, DDP, we primarily focus on FOB, CFR, and CIF terms for our shipments to countless global destinations.
Product Ownership
Upon receipt of payment, Metal Traders ensures to issue a Certificate of Transfer of Ownership to the Buyer. This process is meticulously adhered to for each shipment throughout the duration of our supply agreement, guaranteeing a clear and transparent transaction process.
